Rolfing

Ann Matney is a Certified Rolfer at the nCenter. Rolfing is a holistic system of bodywork that uses deep manipulation of the body’s soft tissue to realign and balance the myofascial structure. Rolfing helps to improve posture and balance by re-educating movement patterns. This can bring relief from general aches and pains, improve breathing, increase energy, improve self-confidence, and relieve physical and mental stress.

Rolfing is also used to treat chronic back pain and joint pain that may be caused by injury, repetitive stress and/ or subconscious postural patterns. Many amateur and professional athletes, including Olympic skaters and skiers, use Rolfing to keep in top condition and to prevent and hasten recovery time from injury.
