I am a Pre-Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling degree from Montana State University, Billings. I am trained as a Rolfer by the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO. I am currently attending the intermediate year of the Somatic Experiencing training. Some of the areas that I prefer to work with clients on, are: career counseling, trauma work, and marriage and relationships. I use a harm-reduction approach for clients working with addiction.
My counseling services are covered by Pacific Source, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Montana Medicaid policies. To clients who find themselves making too much to qualify for Medicaid but not enough to afford private policies that include mental health, I offer a sliding scale that ranges from 65.00-100.00 per session. I also provide free initial consultations.
I am also trained in two neurofeedback systems-the LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) and the Neurofield System. These systems employ pulsed electromagnetic fields (pEMF) and transcranial alternating and direct current stimulation (tACS/ tDCS) to create functional and supportive brainwave patterns in individuals. Neurofeedback is used as a support to the counseling sessions at the nCenter.
I enjoy my work with clients very much. I specialize in working with adults as individuals and in couples. Quote: “Self acceptance is my refusal to have an adversarial relationship with myself.” – Nathaniel Brandon
