Ann grew up in Bozeman and graduated from Bozeman Senior High in 1995. She studied at Smith College and graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy.
Always motivated by human potential and well-being, Ann studied Rolfing Structural Integration at the Rolf Institute and was certified as a Rolfer in 2004. Ann provides Rolfing sessions–a bodywork therapy that focuses on better posture, ease of movement, and deeper embodiment–to this day.
Ann completed her Masters in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling at Montana State University, Billings and graduated in 2018. Under the supervision of Ruth Story, LCPC, Ann provides counseling sessions with a focus on deeper embodiment and well-being.
She is currently enrolled in the beginning-year of the Somatic Experiencing Training (SET) program and has completed 3 of the 3 beginning level units. Ann will complete her Somatic Experiencing training in 2021.
She is also trained in two neurofeedback systems–the LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) and the Neurofield systems. These systems employ pulsed electromagnetic fields (pEMF) and transcranial alternating and direct current stimulation (tACS/ tDCS) to create functional and supportive brainwave patterns in individuals. Neurofeedback is used as a support to the counseling sessions at the nCenter.
Finally, Ann has a deep affinity for the work of psychoanalyst Carl Jung and has studied them on her own extensively for personal interest and as a support to her clinical practice. Ann is currently working toward her license in the state of Montana and is able to see clients with Pacific Source and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance policies.
