My name is Jan Matney and I am the nCenter’s founder and director, as well as a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Montana and a neurofeedback practitioner. I have worked counseling and training individuals and teams since 1990 using holistic, solution-focused approaches. I oversee the neurofeedback at the nCenter to ensure that clients receive accurate neurofeedback protocols to support them in the counseling process and in their lives. My goal is to be a collaborative and respectful leader at work and to create and maintain a positive, healing environment at the nCenter, both for staff and clients.
My study of neurofeedback is under the guidance of Dr. Nick Dogris, PhD. Dr. Dogris and his business partner Bradley Wiitala, B.S.E.E. who developed the NeuroField neurofeedback systems which we use widely at the nCenter. We also use the Low Energy Neurofeedback System developed by Dr. Len Ochs, and the BioLight low level laser developed by Debbie Orr. I study under Nick so that I can provide the best available neurotherapy to clients with autism, learning difficulties, depression, anxiety, ADHD, brain injury, and behavioral problems. I am currently working towards completing my BCIA certification.
I worked for many years as a senior trainer for the international, non-profit, educational organization, More To Life (www.moretolife.org). I trained for More To Life in the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa and New Zealand.
Claud and I have been married since 1970, we have three adult children and two grand children together.
