Alana Vosen was born and raised in a small town on the hi-line in Montana. She graduated from Havre High School in 2004 and moved to Bozeman to work full time in business management. Through that experience, she realized that it was the people she worked with and how she could help them overcome struggles that was satisfying to her. With that realization, she decided to attend Montana State University to study psychology.
Alana completed her Bachelors of Science at Montana State University in Applied Psychology in 2015. She then earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University in September of 2019. Under the supervision of Ruth Story, LCPC, Alana provides counseling at the nCenter to help clients achieve their personal goals and heal from challenging life events.
Alana is trained as an Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) and uses EFT with couples to help them deepen and heal their relationship. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which she employs to assist clients in processing difficult issues and in improving relationships with themselves and others. Her approach to therapy is guided by her natural compassion for others.
Finally, Alana’s education and life experiences have solidified her passion for helping others. She is currently working toward her license in the state of Montana and is able to see clients with Pacific Source and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance policies, and offers a sliding scale.
