Mental Health Counseling in Kalispell, Montana with Suzanne Panique, PLCP

Assistant Director

My name is Suzanne Panique, and I am a Pre-Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (PLCPC), and I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I am also the Assistant Director at nCenter. I have always had a heart for helping others, and before becoming a counselor, I worked for twenty years in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant and an In-Home Care Aide. Throughout that time, I gained significant experience assisting elderly and disabled people by providing whatever physical hands-on care they needed and also by providing emotional support as patients transitioned through the aging process and/or through issues informed by their disability.

Throughout my life I have been passionate about being a sympathetic and non-judgmental listening ear for others as well as helping others through their struggles. Therefore, it felt natural to pursue a career in counseling. As a counselor, it’s been my privilege to work within the LGBTQIA+ community, most especially with transgender clients. I work with adults 18+.

I always endeavor to provide a safe space in which clients can be vulnerable and explore their emotions because I understand that a client’s ability to be vulnerable in a safe place is the place for healing to begin. I use CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy and trauma focused techniques with clients, always seeking to find the approach that works best for each person.

As a native Montana I feel I understand challenges that are specific to living in our state and am looking forward to giving back to the community that has given me so much. I am excited to help open the nCenter in Kalispell so that our community can benefit from the integrative approach to mental health that the nCenter provides.
