My name is Jessica Davis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and a graduate certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work from the University of Denver.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Some of the areas that I have completed post-graduate learning and education in include: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), crisis prevention and response, executive functioning, mindfulness, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)/Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), domestic violence, secondary trauma, building safety surrounding substance abuse, and Restorative Practices.
I joined the nCenter in 2018 and see clients at both the Bozeman and Belgrade office locations. Prior to moving to Montana, I worked as a school social worker for a public school in the Denver, Colorado area. I provide individual counseling to children, adolescents and adults. My theoretical approach is grounded in person-centered therapy; facilitating growth and understanding through unconditional positive regard.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors.
