I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree. I hold a graduate certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and I have completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), crisis prevention and response, domestic violence resolution, secondary trauma resolution and Restorative Practices. I use these skills to foster growth and healing with my clients.
Life can be challenging, and my aim is to provide a safe place for clients to face those challenges. I see each client as unique, and my intention is to foster unconditional positive regard with each client-therapist relationship. I have experience with children, adolescents, adults and seniors. It is a rich experience to see clients of all ages!
I believe that relationship is the foundation of a strong therapeutic connection. It is my intention to honor each client and through that honoring, offer any skills and experience I have so that each client is empowered to find their own way. My first intention is always to respect the individual before me and to see the richness in my life.
